The B848CS is magnetized through one of the 1/2" directions, so it will have the highest attraction on its smaller sides versus its larger sides. The unique magnitization of this block makes it easy to grab and handle.

Unlike most of our Countersunk Magnets, the hole on this one is not parallel to the magnetization direction. The hole is, "through the side." The north and south poles of this magnet are not on the faces with the hole.

These magnets will have either a dimple or dot on the north pole.
