Our Policies
US Shipping Policy
We offer shipping through UPS and the US Postal Service (USPS). We generally ship most orders within 1 business day.
UPS
We offer the following domestic shipping services through UPS: UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air. The shipping cost is determined by the weight of your order, the level of UPS service selected, and the destination. With UPS, delivery times are guaranteed and tracking information is provided. UPS orders placed online by 12:00PM (noon) ET will be shipped the same day.
USPS
We offer flat rate shipping through the US Postal Service. USPS Priority Mail is a flat rate of $7.00 and USPS First Class Mail is a flat rate of $5.00. With USPS shipping, there is no tracking information provided and delivery times are not guaranteed. Delivery confirmation is provided when available.
International Shipping Policy
We currently offer international shipping to most
countries. For a full list of the countries we ship to, please see our
Ordering/Shipping Info Page.
Please be sure that all products are eligible for import into your country before ordering. Because the import rules and regulations for each country are different, we will not be responsible for international shipments once they leave our facility. All import duty,
brokerage, and any other additional fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
UPS
We offer the following international shipping services through UPS: Worldwide Express and Worldwide Expedited. The shipping cost is determined by the weight of your order, the level of UPS service selected, and the destination. With UPS, delivery times are guaranteed and tracking information is provided.
USPS
Our flat rate international shipping is via the US Postal Service. International
shipping is by USPS First-Class Mail International for packages under 4 lbs and
USPS Priority Mail International for packages 4 lbs and over. With the US Postal
Service, delivery times are not guaranteed and tracking is not provided. The US Postal Service estimates delivery time on most international airmail shipments to be 4-12 business days, but the customs process of each country is different and can delay delivery by up to 14 additional business days.
Please note that some items are not eligible for international flat rate shipping. The following will not be shipped using international flat rate shipping rates: steel balls, sculpture kits, and permanent magnet levitators. All items are eligible for international shipping via UPS.
Payment Policy
We accept many forms of payment. Please refer to our
Ordering/Shipping Page for details.
Order Cancellation Policy
Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of payment, so canceling an order may be
difficult. If you wish to cancel an order, notify us immediately and we
will attempt to stop the order before it is processed and sent for shipping. If it has already
been processed, we are unable to cancel the order, and it be subject to our return policy.
Return Policy
We accept returns on all magnets returned to us in original and resalable
condition within 30 days of purchase. Shipping fees are not refundable. Shipping fees incurred
by K&J Magnetics greater than the flat rate charged are not refundable. There is a $10.00 or
20% restocking fee, whichever is greater, for all returned items. Please contact us for an RMA
number before returning any products. All magnets must be shipped in a box in order to comply with USPS, UPS, and FedEx regulations. Returns in an envelope or padded envelope will not be accepted.
Neodymium magnets are prone to breaking due to mishandling. We do not accept
returns on magnets that have been damaged due to improper handling or that show
signs of wear.
Custom orders are not eligible for return unless the products do not meet
the original specifications.
Please be sure to provide a complete and correct shipping
address. Any order returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect address supplied or an undeliverable address will be refunded the value of the order less shipping
and any return shipping charges.
If you would like the order reshipped, we require that you pay another shipping
fee, as postage for returned items is not refunded by the carrier. Any
shipments refused by addressee are also subject to shipping and return shipping
charges.
Damaged Shipment
We take great care in packaging our magnets for shipment, so damage during
shipping is very rare.
All shipments that are received in visibly damaged condition MUST be reported to the delivery carrier at the time of receipt. Also, damage claims must be reported to us within 2 days of receiving your shipment so that we can initiate a claim with the carrier. You must keep
all boxes and packing material, as the carrier may want to inspect the damaged
packaging and products.
Incomplete/Incorrect Shipment
All orders are double checked before shipping to ensure that all ordered items are included
and correct. In the rare case that you receive an incomplete or incorrect order, you must notify us within 2 days of receiving your shipment. Due to the
small size of some of our magnets they are sometimes overlooked in the packing
materials. Please double check the contents of your box, including all of
the packing materials before initiating a claim. K&J Magnetics, Inc., at
its sole discretion, can choose to refund or replace the item(s) in question.
Security Policy
We are very concerned about the
security of our transactions on the web. That is why we use Authorize.net,
one of the most respected and secure credit card processing providers on the web. We
do not store your credit card information on our servers, or anywhere else, after your order is
processed and complete. You can read more about our concern for

Privacy Policy
We will not share your personal information or email address with anyone, nor will we
email you, unless it is regarding your order. The only thing you will receive
from us is your order confirmation and communication pertaining to your order.
Limited Warranty
We warrant our products to be free of manufacturers defects. Our only
obligation is to replace products proven to be defective. All other
warranties, express or implied are disclaimed.
Liability
Acceptance of any order is conditioned on Buyer's acceptance of these terms. We
shall not be liable, whether in contract, in tort, under any warranty, in
negligence or otherwise, for consequential, special or incidental damages.
Under no circumstances shall our liability exceed the amount of the purchase
price. The buyer's limited right to replacement is the Buyer's sole and
exclusive remedy.
