Magnetization direction These diametrically magnetized cylinders are very powerful.  They are magnetized perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, so they will attract "side-to-side" with great force.  They "feel" stronger and are more difficult to handle than the axially magnetized cylinders of the same size. 

Also available in this size: DCC (Grade N42, Axially Magnetized) and DCC-N52 (Grade N52, Axially Magnetized
