Magnetization direction These diametrically magnetized discs are very powerful.  They are magnetized perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, so they will attract "side-to-side" with great force.  They "feel" stronger and are a bit more difficult to handle than the axially magnetized cylinders of the same size. 

This size is also available axially magnetized as part number DC6 and in Grade N52 with a Black Nickel plating as part number DC6B-N52.
